All right, guys, welcome to the podcast. We have, well, we're kind of in debate on what to call these

podcasts, but John and I, John's a producer to the podcast, been on a couple of episodes,

but we've been working at developing this like new style of

podcast, this new, you know, not just an interview.

And so we kind of had this idea right before season that we were going to do this and just kind of threw some stuff

to the wall to see what it would stick and really it's kind of been just a full-on test run.

We recorded, I recorded a lot of my hunt during both season. And at the time I think when I recorded it, I didn't like it at all. It's tough to listen back to it and there's just a lot of rambling so John puts it together

well and like so it makes it a little more enduring I guess and so we've kind of just been playing with

this this concept and we want to make it better we're going to do a lot of

cool things with it and so this year I guess for deer season got the chance to go down to Wyoming and it was kind of a

bonsai last minute trip and I thought I'd hit record and this is a little bit shorter hunt than say the entire bow season and you know things happen quick and deer hunts are obviously very different than rifle or than bow hunts but you know one of the things we want to do with these true life stories or whatever I call it is kind of like do these recaps and then talk about the hunt and try to and the goal I guess the big big picture goal is to share the

experience of what hunting is like to people who don't know if that makes

sense exactly and, I think, you know, hunting videos are cool and they do a great job of like showing things,

but there's so much

behind the scenes and so much behind the scenes and so much other stuff that's happening

that it's kind of called to record it in an audio form.

So that's where we're going with this.

After the podcast we're going to talk a lot about you know where we're going with this

cool ideas we have and and kind of just some editor's notes I guess if anybody's interested or has

feedback on how we make this better but this is the Wyoming Buck on. I mean the only thing I can't figure out is do you put your gators back on or just your

lawns? Like I'm in a fashion dilemma here. Is that legal? Can you just wear lawn jaws with gagers? Or should you just go lawn jaw straight to boots?
