In this live episode of The Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris, Jeff Risdon, and Tony Ortiz get together to preview the Detroit Lions upcoming game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Lions have a lot of similar issues to the Jacksonville Jaguars, a struggling defense, a 1-3 record, and a fan base that is ready for a coaching change. Jacksonville Jaguars Coaching Struggles This could be a pivotal game for both teams, and might be the final nail in the coffin for the coach whose team comes away the loser. It may turn into a battle between to see which coach still has their players on board. As I often do, I’m putting my money on the Lions to take this game and the Jacksonville Jaguars to be the one’s taking action in relieving their coach of his duties. Detroit Lions Podcast Previews Tony Ortiz and Jeff Risdon make a great case for a Lions win this week, whether Lions fans want it or not. The Lions are heading into a stretch of very winnable games, and while it isn’t anyone’s prediction, the New York Giants won a Super Bowl with a 9-7 team that no one thought had any business even making the playoffs. As crazy as 2020 has been, it might not hurt to let your mind imagine the insanity for a bit. That’s on you though, it never comes up in the show.
