there's a new format in town.

I think it's going to change bouldering competitions forever.

My guest today is Charlie Bosco. Charlie was the lead IFSC commentator

for five years from 2016 to 2020 and commentated for approximately 70 World Cup and World Championship

events. He's also an avid climber and former climbing guide who's done expeditions all around the world.

He's an incredible writer.

And now he is the co-founder of Pro Climbing League.

So in other sports in the U.S., in most places, we have professional leagues like the NFL or NBA or MLB.

And then we have the national team.

We have international federations. You can get on the national team. We have international federations.

You can get on the national team and compete in the Olympics and things like that.

Pro climbing league or the PCL is trying to bring that same concept to climbing.

So we'll have the IFSC doing World Cups and World Championships in the Olympics.

And then we'll have a professional

league where pro climbers can potentially make more money, where viewers like you and me can

have a higher quality viewing experience that's at the same caliber of other professional

sports and new formats that are more exciting and will test the best climbers in the world
