Summary

https://teachhoops.com/ In this special edition of Coach Unplugged, we explore the "under the hood" power of the One-on-One Member Call with Coach Moore. Let’s face it: as coaches, we often get "married" to our own ideas. We run the same drills and the same sets because they worked three years ago, even if they aren't working with this group. A one-on-one session with Coach Moore provides the ultimate "Tactical Audit." This isn't just about drawing up a "quick hitter" for a baseline out-of-bounds play; it's about having an elite basketball mind look at your roster and help you identify the "invisible leaks" that are costing you 6–8 points a game. The real magic happens when you move from generic advice to Hyper-Personalized Strategy. Coach Moore brings a unique "outside-in" perspective that can spot things you’ve become blind to. Whether it’s your point guard’s tendency to over-dribble in the press or your post players failing to "seal" correctly, Coach Moore helps you translate complex concepts into "Gym-Ready Language." During the mid-season January grind, these calls serve as a "Professional Reset." You walk away not just with a new drill, but with the Confidence and Clarity to lead your team through the toughest part of the schedule. Finally, these calls are a masterclass in "Efficient Implementation." We don't just talk about the "what"; we talk about the "How." How do you explain a role change to a disgruntled starter? How do you increase your "Rep Density" without burning your players out? Using Coach Moore as a sounding board allows you to "stress-test" your leadership decisions before you step onto the floor. Use your TeachHoops membership to its full potential: stop guessing and start Architecting your success with a one-on-one deep dive. Coach's Perspective: "The smartest coaches aren't the ones with the most answers; they are the ones who ask the best questions. A call with Coach Moore is an investment in your own coaching ceiling." and to set up a roadmap for you to be successful, not only on the court, but off the court. And we offer a 14-day-free trial. So come over and kick the tires around, see if you like it. And let's hit off the podcast. Okay, go ahead. Shoot away. Yeah, so I wanted to work on some end-of-game stuff. And so I was wondering if I gave you a couple of scenarios.

1:11.4

So I watched all your videos in the end-of-game stuff. It's really good stuff and balance, all that type of stuff. Victory, the full court's great, the sideline. So I want to ask a couple questions. So from my understanding of the end-the-game philosophy, if there's like three seconds or something that's when you throw along you try to hit the in the game type but if you

1:29.7

have five seconds or more that's enough time to get

1:31.7

the ball in and push up the court, right? Yeah. And the rule is a second a dribble.

1:38.8

So if you, so that's why they have to, so let's say there's five seconds.

1:46.5

It means you can take four dribbles and you got to let it go.

1:48.6

Maybe three dribbles will let it go.

1:53.2

So whenever you diagram stuff up, you always got to be aware of that.

1:58.9

But yes, if there's, it's between five and six seconds, I think is where I like it.

2:00.6

If I'm going any distance. Could you give me the challenge

2:02.9

I'm running to is what could you give me just a couple of like in the game plays you would run

2:08.2

You're not sure if they're gonna be a man or a zone you need to push it up you know five eight seconds
