Both starting cornerbacks (Marshon Lattimore and Janoris Jenkins), Jared Cook, Andrus Peat, Marcus Davenport, and Michael Thomas are all ‘out’ for the New Orleans Saints. If there was ever a game where Matthew Stafford should break free, find his groove, and open up, this one looks set up to be the one. Kenny Golladay with another week of healing puts him and Marvin Jones in their respective positions of strength, TJ Hockenson, Danny Amendola, and even Jesse James look poised to have a big day. If you’re looking for D’Andre Swift to have his first show out game, I’d expect it against the New Orleans Saints this Sunday. In other words, take the over. Detroit Lions Podcast Talks Match-ups Chris, Jeff, and Tony scout out their most important match-ups for the game and discuss keys to the Lions victory. Each of us found another key for the Lions to beat the New Orleans Saints after their strong showing against the Arizona Cardinals. We spend some time reviewing that game (which we all predicted wrong), and what it could mean if the Lions were to come out of this week with a 2-2 record. Boy would some heads explode if that were to happen… Predictions finish the show off, and you just might be surprised by what you hear.
