Welcome to talking scripture. I'm Mike and I'm Bryce and today we're going to be

in third Neefai 12 through 16. Bryce this is great stuff it's it's the

Nephite sermon on the mount it's kind of the equivalent of that isn't it?

It is and the most amazing thing about this sermon is it's as simple as a child's understanding

but it is deep and profound and something really significant

is going on here and I'm so thrilled that this was preserved.

So let's jump into kind of this difficult concept.

What's Jesus really doing here?

There are two steps in our progress

to the Celestial Kingdom.

Let me take you back to the Old Testament Tabernacle.

As you came out of the kind of the Gentile court, as you came out of the

world, which kind of represents the cholesterol world. And then you come into the holy place.

Now it's the altar of sacrifice and it was the little bull where you were washed and anointed.

And so kind of symbolizing the covenants of the gospel that allow you to come out of the world

and into the terrestrial world.

The holy place of the temple represented kind of the terrestrial kingdom and that you've become
