| 1:03.0 | I was a criminal prosecutor for 18 years in the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office. |
| 1:10.0 | During that 18 years, I specialized in murder cases near the end of my career. |
| 1:16.0 | That was probably my forte, but I did spend some time as the head of the hate crimes unit. |
| 1:22.0 | For about two years, I ran that for the county. |
| 1:25.0 | So in that capacity, I was in charge of all of the hate crime cases that were filed in Los Angeles. |
| 1:32.0 | And I also trained law enforcement and went out in the community and talked about hate crimes trying to educate people on that. |
| 1:39.0 | I also, for a few years, was in another special unit called crimes against police officers or coppers. |
| 1:46.0 | And that was a unit that any time a police officer was shot or killed in the line of duty, we would roll out to the crime scene and follow the case from the crime scene on through to the trial. |

| 2:05.0 | I loved being a criminal prosecutor. |
