Before we get to today's guest, I want to tell you about a special event I'm doing this September in Savannah, Georgia.

It's called Read Savannah. It's a wonderful event for readers and our keynote speaker is the fabulous

Leon Royarty. Leon is coming to the States for the first time ever this fall.

She's only visiting 10 cities. We have no idea when she'll be back, but her only stop in the south is

Savannah with us. This is going to be so fun. The main schedule event will fill a Sunday afternoon.

We'll kick off with a movable feast, which is a sit-down lunch where authors rotate through the room,

come sit with you at your table and talk books with you while you eat.

After lunch, we'll have sessions and panels with a variety of award-winning and best-selling authors,

and of course with Leon Royarty herself. I'm also teaming up with the wonderful ladies that she

reads from episode 15 to host a combine get-together for our favorite readers during the weekend,

date and time to be announced, but it will be near the event hotel in the middle of the historic

district and likely on Saturday afternoon. Reed Savannah is held in partnership with the Southern

Independent Booksellers Alliance trade show, so the event hotel will sell out really soon. Again,

that date is September 18th. Tickets are $45 for the afternoon sessions or 55 for the panels keynote
