And then when we see racism and violence playing out like this, it's very hard not to despair.

Yeah, and I think events like this really make us ask what am I doing in my own life to

This is a question we should be thinking about all the time and now more than ever.

Over the weekend, Gretchen, Jack's school held an online candlelight vigil and even though

we all know thoughts and prayers aren't enough, it felt really good to share a moment
