This is definitely my favorite time of the year.

The most special moments in my life

have centered around the end of the year holidays.

Probably for the same reasons that you're guessing,

it's family time.

Parents work a little bit less.

Kids are out of school. The seasons change,

even in California and Florida. And we just spend more time together doing the things that we want.

And no longer do we rush around like we tend to do in between the holidays every year.

I have two kids.

You guys who listen a lot know that.

One is 10 and one is 11.

And I mention them sometimes on the podcast,

but they're two of my favorite things in the world.

I've tried really hard to put in the time and effort as a dad,

and I've gotten back many, many times that in meaning that is hard to describe in words. My wife and I

work pretty hard each year to make Christmas time as magical as both her parents and my parents did
