But today a young woman goes on social media and they see the air quote perfected self.

They see the perfect image with the perfect angle, the perfect filter that's sometimes

airbrushed and sometimes not even real.

And they compare themselves to a perception of perfection.

And they look themselves in the mirror

and they see, man, I've got these freckles my eyes are this my

faces that and ultimately here's the worst part when we get sucked into that kind of

version of perfectionism is that we miss out on the reality that God is the one that

made you.

He gave you those freckles.

He gave you your beauty.

And that's the saddest part is that when we when we compare ourselves

in that kind of a way ultimately we're questioning God's workmanship that he made us

to be something he desires us to be and we're comparing that to a facade, a fake image of perfectionism. Shucks, my fingers hurt.
