I'm curious about the history of prostitution.

Dr. Kate Lister is lecturer at the School of Arts and Communication at Leads

Trinity University. Kate primarily researches the literary history of sex work and curates

the online research project, Hors of Yore, a digital archive for the study of historical sexuality.

She's also just had a book published called Harlots, Hors and Hackabouts. Yeah, I must admit, until I started reading Kate's book,

the issues around prostitution hadn't really come into my thinking in much detail. There's a lot more to it than you
