Buckeye Talk is starting to preview Ohio State's 2020 football season. For the next 12 weeks, Doug Lesmerises, Nathan Baird and Stephen Means will talk to writers from all 12 of the Buckeyes' scheduled opponents for this season, running through the regular season in order. First up is Bowling Green, which means a visit from Bowling Green beat writer Nick Piotrowicz of the Toledo Blade. But that's just 30 minutes to kick off this big Wednesday pod. Then Doug, Nathan and Stephen delve into the history of Ohio State against the MAC, look back at close calls, and take input from text subscribers on whether the Buckeyes will ever lose to a MAC team. Finally, with the NFL Draft in the books, the guys look at Ohio State's defense from 2018, which has now had eight starters drafted. They rewatched the Purdue and Maryland games from that season of OSU defensive struggles and, knowing the NFL talent on that defense, took a last look at what went wrong and what could be learned for Ohio State's 2020 defense.
