Hey everybody, Tom Woods here. It's episode 2735 of the Tom Wood Show. Now, I promise you, this is the last time I'm going to do this for a while. We'll not get in the habit of doing this on a regular basis. But I had this other pile of books on my desk here, think I never really did get to these in my previous episode. So last week I did an episode where I went through some of the books that you see

behind me in my library, and I introduced them to you as books that you might find interesting,

and I made the case for why each one was worth reading and what you'll find inside each one,

and what myths each one was overturning, all that stuff, because I have a pretty interesting library, and I know now people are going to sit here trying to read the different titles. No, don't do that. I'll get to all the interesting ones at one point or another. But I thought I would do another quick episode where I introduced you some of these volumes. The first one that I want to talk about, I've done an episode on this with Michael Malice, but it was years

ago. What I'm really doing is, you know, I know I have voracious readers, some people will have

read all these books, but I'm speaking to people who, let's say, you know, they would like to know

more about either history, revisionist history, economics, but where do you even begin, for heaven's sake,

given the absolute avalanche of resources

you're gonna find out there.

So I am gonna narrow things down for you,

and if you read the books that I talk about today

and in the episode last week, 2733, you won't have to spend five years getting through

them or 10 or 20 or 30 years you'll be able to do it in i don't know depends on your reading

speed so let's start with another book by thomas soul and this is the book a conflict of visions

and a conflict of visions this is a book i actually wound up having a living room debate

with our friend mark scousin about i was over at his house for dinner it was a dinner party a bunch of

people there and he's just impromptu who said tom and i are going to debate because i don't agree with

him on this topic and off we went but i'm quite fond of this book of conflict of visions and the

point of it is this that you find an awful lot that people wind up.

Now, libertarians sometimes are an exception to this, but I think you'll nevertheless agree with me that the pattern holds.
