You know, the election in November is huge and everyone's focused on it, but as soon

as it's over, you better believe we're going to start hearing from a parade of Democratic

candidates running for president in 2020.

So no rest for the weary voter, particularly in places like Iowa and New Hampshire.

And one person who's visited both those places recently is Steve Bullock, the two-term governor

of Montana, a Democratic governor of a state that Donald Trump carried by 20 points, a

Western state, not a coastal state.

And that has people asking, could he have the special secret sauce that can help Democrats

win back some of the voters that they lost in 2016?

Governor Bullock came by the Institute of Politics at the University of Chicago last week,

where I sat down with him to ask him about his life, his career, and his plan.
