The first and last games of the preseason will be removed from the schedule which leaves the Lions playing the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins. There are a number of considerations as a result – including, how will less preseason football affect the quality of regular season play? How could this affect injuries? We answer these questions and more in our coverage. We also go into listener questions about the ceiling that the defense might have based on the changes and upgrades this offseason, and we also discuss Jahlani Tavai‘s shoulder injury and how things look there. After listener questions we chat about the comments Darius slay recently made in response to Brian Baldinger‘s conversation with Davante Adams of the Green Bay Packers.
