people. So welcome to this show, Adam. Thank you. It's great to be with you. I got to know you or know of you

because I have a friend who's a senior pastor at a Lutheran church in Dallas, And I asked him, who would be a good Protestant

scholar to talk about this particular issue of Christianity and Israel and the Jewish people?

And I said, I want it to be a Protestant scholar. My Catholic listeners will go berserk, but I'm sure

they'll understand that I don't want it to be, well, of course, that guy's a Catholic. Of course he's going to say such and such. I wanted to be clear that what you're saying is absolutely within the mainstream of the thought of Christendom on these matters for a very long time. This isn't peculiar to one particular denomination or another. So that is why it's starting to

sound like you're the token Lutheran on the Tom Wood Show. That's not true. I've had other Lutherans

on the show before. But that was my thinking, is that I want this to be, to be understood as an

absolutely mainstream approach, nothing weird, nothing exclusively Catholic, exclusively Lutheran about it.

It's just examining, in effect, 2,000 years of Christian Orthodoxy. So you're ready?

I think so. Two thousand years and 40 or 50 minutes sounds great.
