It was February 6, 2024.

That's the day 45-year-old Jennifer Crumbly learned her fate.

More than two years prior, on November 30th, 2021, Jennifer's 15-year-old son took a gun out of his

backpack and shot multiple people at his high school, Oxford High School in Oxford, Michigan. Four students were killed and many others were

wounded. Jennifer's son was arrested and in October 22 he pleaded guilty to all 24 charges against him.

He was later sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. As of this recording, he is appealing that sentence.

But as police investigated what had happened that day,

including the how, how did the 15-year-old shooter get the gun he used?

And the why? Why had the shooter decided to kill innocent people?

They came across some things that led them to believe there might be other people at fault, namely the shooter's parents, Jennifer and James Crumbly.

They were arrested days after the shooting in Detroit on Friday, December 3rd, 2021.

Oakland County prosecutor Karen McDonald held a news conference announcing the charges. the The family, friends and loved ones of Hannah, St. Juliana, Madison Baldwin, Tate Murr, and Justin Schilling, and the other victim victims have had their lives shattered.

there are other individuals who contributed to this, to the events on November 30th,

and it's my intention to hold them accountable as well. It's imperative we prevent this
