And the answer is, no, he is not.

Offly close, though.

The totally not gay Aaron Schock is not our congressman. But we live about 15 blocks from his local office in Springfield.

So when you drive downtown, it's right there, right there on 6th Street.

And it does not have a rainbow flag outside.

No rainbow awning, no rainbow flag out front.

I'm pretty sure, however, that's only because the mayor is worried that will keep people awake past 9 o'clock.

There is a study in contrast between the mayor of Springfield and Aaron Schock.

And yet they're in the same political party.
