Summary
David Earl is an actor and comedian famous for his brilliant comedy character, Brian Gittens, which he plays in several Ricky Gervais projects; Derek, Extras, the film Cemetery Junction and the world wide Netflix smash hit, After Life. David works regularly with his After Life co-star, Joe Wilkinson and together they co-wrote and starred in the sitcom Rovers and the comedy series The Cockfields. David co-wrote and starred in the Film 4 feature film Brian and Charles where, as Brian Gittens, he plays an isolated inventor who builds a robot. It was nominated for the BAFTA Award for Outstanding British Film in 2023 and it won the Audience Favourite award at the Sundance Film Festival in 2022. David also co-hosts the daily podcast Chatabix with Joe Wilkinson which reached No.1 on the Apple podcast charts.
