Hi, how are you?

Good. Well, we have we have the first of our new feature today.

That's right. We're going to be answering some of your questions and then we're going to be talking to Adam Davidson,

who is with the New Yorker magazine, and is someone who

has gone deeper than almost anybody on every aspect of the Trump-Russia probe, but specifically all of these different foreign deals, you know,

stuff in the Caucasus, stuff in parts of the former Soviet Union.

Yeah, I think his, you know, his business reporting background gives him sort of a unique

way into the story.

You know, I think he's mentioned before.

Some people are kind of intimidated by complex business stories.

He's obviously kind of mastered the form and so it's just good to have that perspective.

Well one of the things about about business reporting is that if you're not steeped in it it's a little hard to know

like is that okay because sometimes those things are okay or at least they're just how

they're done and maybe there are reasons why it actually is a legitimate way to do business but it's a little hard to know.

So one thing we just have follow that stuff.

Yeah, one thing we just have to mention at the top of the episode is that it's an absolutely crazy,

hot week in New York. Yes. We're here in kind of downtown Manhattan, just trying to stay cool.

And so in the background you might hear a tiny like worrying kind of AC thing.
