Where does evil come from?

This is an age-old question with no clear answer, one that depends a lot on your personal

perspective. To some, evil is a direct result of our free will and the choices we make.

But to others, there has long been the belief that supernatural entities can possess an innocent person

and force them to act with evil intent.

Or in other words, the devil made them do it.

So with such a long-standing and pervasive belief that demons can possess

an innocent person, it became inevitable that over time a new class of religious leaders

would appear to drive these demons out. We call these people exorcists. In movies about

exorcisms, we often see good triumphing over evil, with the demons being driven out in the end by the hardworking priest.

But real life doesn't always work that way.

In this episode, I'm going to tell you about what happens when an exorcism goes wrong.

To be downright deadly.
