and it just keeps going and all the cool things. So I am here with one of our first ever certified coaches,

And it's so cool because we're going to get to hear your story from, you know, not even knowing who

this naked mind was all the way through becoming a certified coach, but really personally your alcohol

story too, which is obviously the whole point of this podcast is to make each other feel just

understood and so much less alone and sharing our story. So thank you for being here. And why don't

you just kind of back us up to the very beginning. So take me back to where it all started for you.

Okay. Well, I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. And I think it's hard to imagine a city

that's more identified with alcohol and partying than New Orleans. I mean,

right from its inception from the founding of the city in the early 1700s. This is just kind of a crazy

cocktail of a city that was very inhospitable terrain swampy deadly mosquitoes hurricanes,

heat and humidity. And I think, you know, maybe outborn out of that was just this spirit of

survival and live each day like there's no tomorrow or something, but it is a city that's really

synonymous with alcohol and partying and the, you know, lesse les bonnes tels roulet les

you're doing all the things and blowing it out because the next day is left when you give it all up.
