has ever existed. And I, of course, want to talk a little bit about that with Dave, but you should

all, first of all, let me start with something a little bit off the wall. I've been trying to get the word out about Ron Paul's 90th birthday party. He's having a big barbecue. Well, he's not having it because you know how modest the guy is. Other people are holding it for him. He's not holding a celebration of himself the way I did at my 2000 episode. But a whole lot of people are going to be

there. A lot of people are going to be there. A lot of people are going it for him. He's not holding a celebration of himself the way I did at my 2000th episode. But a whole lot of people are going to be there. A lot of people from the old Ron Paul movement. I mean, it's almost like a family reunion for those of us who were out there as part of that. So Ronpaulbbbq.com. You should go, let's try to make this a big, big, big thing for his 90th birthday.

But as I've been thinking about that, Dave, it crossed my mind that you weren't like fully

in the movement during the Ron Paul presidential campaigns. And all I can think of is if we

had had you broadcasting these ideas all over the place and with your bullhorn there would have been a whole

extra level of excitement and enthusiasm about it and geez what a shame that we missed you by just a

couple of years well that's an interesting way to look at it i mean the ron paul campaigns for president

are what got me interested in this world and what introduced me.

So, yeah, it's true.

I mean, I was just starting, I mean, I think I started stand-up comedy in 2006, either 2005 or 2006.

And then I found Ron Paul in 2007.

So I was like, just a brand new comedian who stumbled on to these ideas. But we didn't

really have like the big podcasts and stuff like that then. So even, you know what I mean?

I don't know if there would have been a possibility of me having the megaphone I have now or

whatever. But there are so many people. And many of them kind of departed from being strict libertarians,

but there were so many people like around my age who were really deeply impacted and influenced

...
