So break-ups suck. It's true. They're never fun for anybody. Whether you're the one

getting dumped or you're the one doing the dumping, it's always a change of life. It's always

some type of transition and it doesn't feel good. It's going to bring up

feelings of anger, sadness, that's normal. But if we never got over a breakup, if it always stayed

equally painful, we'd be in a deep dark sadness

whole forever. That's the voice of Dr Amy Harwick, a therapist, author, and

Hollywood media personality.

With a specialty in relationships in sexuality,

she was a frequent guest on local media and podcasts.

By all accounts, she was a brilliant friend, a caring and compassionate therapist, and beloved in her community.

Obviously, really beautiful. Like she was smart. She had a PhD master's degree. She cared so much about

helping people. That was her life's purpose. If that voice sounds familiar, you're

probably a fan of the price is Right, or perhaps you watched the Drew

Cary show from a while back. That's actor and host Drew Carey speaking on CBS's

48 hours. He was engaged to Harwick for about a year back in 2018.

He even brought Harwick on the Price's Right and introduced her as his fiance.

That was on Valentine's Day 2018.

Just two years later, on the same day,

Dr Amy Harwick was murdered.

In the early hours of February 15th, 2020, the 38-year-old was found severely injured and

unresponsive on her patio.

It was clear, within moments of the crime scene scene that she had fallen from the balcony three stories up.
