I'm Lauren Tholmes, and I want to let you know that we understand this is going to be a tough listen because of what happened in this game.

The Bears lose 36 to 25 to the New Orleans Saints on the lakefront, and there are so many different things that we need to discuss throughout the podcast today.

I am joined by Owen Cruz, Matt Forte, Lance Briggs, and Alex Brown.

And we are going to go through what happened, why it looked like the Bears were being dominated in this game on defense.

And whether or not that's a trend that we're seeing with the Bears were being dominated in this game on defense and whether or not that's a

trend that we're seeing with the Bears defense. The Bears' offense continues to struggle and it hasn't

just been in this particular game. It's been weeks and weeks and weeks. We need to discuss that

as well. And maybe some of the bigger picture questions will come into play, talking about

the quarterback Mitchell Chibisky, his play in the game, and whether or not the Bears can

sustain that level of play if they have any shot of being a playoff team. And why aren't they

able to run the ball?

What it means to me to be a Chicago bear,

it's an easy question.

It means everything to me.

That means rich tradition,

black and blue division, defense, legends, linebackers.

The history of it.

I mean, I'm a big history guy, so understanding this was one of the first franchises,

just kind of blows my mind, honestly, that I was able to be a part of that.
