The greatest thing about documentaries are that they give us an essence of real life,

glean from the assemblages of historical footage, photographs, talking heads, pre-recorded

audio and the normality of a day in a person's life.

They provide us with an opportunity to understand and connect with the world.

They help us engage with one another around the important issues of our times, you know,

much like this week.
