1:05.4	Ecologist for the state of Wisconsin and the boys here wanted to talk about elk reintroduction
1:12.3	and elkunt and so that's a big part of my job is
1:16.6	elk management is something that falls under my responsibilities at the DNR along with deer.
1:21.7	Right and the big reason we're talking about this I think is at the DNR along with deer. Right.
1:23.0	And the big reason we're talking about this, I think,
1:24.8	is obviously that when people think Wisconsin and hunting,
1:28.7	elk is not probably at the top of their minds.
1:32.3	Usually it's white tail and then white tail.
1:36.9	And then probably third would be white tail.
1:39.7	If you're gonna pick a third, it'd probably be white tail.

1:43.5	But this year, and Kevin, correct me if I'm mistaken at all.
1:47.2	This year is the first year in a long time,
1:49.5	I don't know exactly how long, I can't remember,
1:51.2	but that Elk will be on the menu so to speak.
