Summary

“When Love meets sorrow it becomes compassion” As we become silent we start to awaken to the mystery of this human realm. We begin to open to and acknowledge all of the unfinished business that often permeates our being. Through practice we can learn to offer love in the presence of pain. In these moments of loving-kindness we feel a connection to the web of life and discover the more objective nature of our struggles and sorrows. 1:49.8	doing and start with a poem called The Sleepless Ones. What if all the people who could not sleep at two or three or four in the morning left their

2:11.4	What if hundreds, thousands, millions went in their solitude like a stream?
2:17.0	And each told their story.
2:20.0	What if there were old women fearful if they slept that they would die?
2:26.0	And young women unable to conceive, and husbands having affairs and children fearful of failing and fathers worried
2:36.0	about paying the bills and women having business troubles and men unlucky
2:40.8	in love and those that were in physical pain and those who were guilty.
2:47.0	Sleepless, what if they all left their houses like a stream and the moon illuminated their way and they came each one to
2:57.6	tell their stories. Would these be the more troubled of humanity or would these be the more passionate of this world or those who need to create to live or would these be the lonely ones?
