Summary

How do we bounce back from the crippling effects that fear generates in our life? In this episode, Natalie & Charlotte talk about practical ways to overcome fear. Did you know that fear or anxiety and thanksgiving can’t scientifically coexist together in your mind? That means that there is great power in professing and ruminating on the things that we are grateful for. When we know where our fear begins, we can pinpoint it and then begin to attack it practically, based on instructions in scripture. Fear can be contagious and overwhelming, but when you can learn to take every thought captive and confess the truth of God’s word, that fear can change into faith. Make sure to subscribe so you never miss an episode!

so prevalent through this last season we've all walked through together globally. And I think even

0:51.4

just in talking with some friends and some of my community, and even just in my own heart, is how do we bounce back from actually sitting in a perpetual place of that almost fear of the unknown?

1:05.2

What's next? What's coming tomorrow? What's coming next week? And that just perpetual feeling like you're just so uncertain

and afraid. It's funny, I just recently had a friend say, hey, did you know that they have just

done studies, that scientific studies that prove that anxiety and Thanksgiving can't exist in the brain at the same time.

1:32.5

And I just thought that's interesting.

1:35.7

That's interesting in something that I think we need to talk about

1:38.4

because I think oftentimes I've got anxiety,

1:42.4

even if it's not showing on the outside,

1:44.0

it's gripping me on the outside, it's gripping

1:45.0

me on the inside, anxiety in my mind and in my spirit. And what would happen if I just learned

1:51.7

even when I don't feel like it to begin to allow a spirit of thanksgiving to just permeate

1:58.6

every aspect of my thinking, anxiety couldn't exist.
