right so the last time you were on it was pre-election so i think we've all kind of done our analysis

episodes and and articles but there is so much to mine here i mean really i think it's such an

interesting presidential election because there's so much going on here.

There's so much of interest in it. So first, let's start with this. In the days leading up to, maybe the

weeks leading up to the election, a lot of people on social media were sharing electoral maps,

and they would color in blue or red how they thought each state was going to go.

And I never did that. But a lot of people, they were just for fun predicting what they thought would

happen. But there was, I think, an assumption among a lot of people that although Trump definitely

had a good chance of winning and the Democrats had good reason to be concerned, it could well turn out to be

another case of he wins the electoral college, but he doesn't win the popular vote. And so because

the electoral college is held in some suspicion by some people, there would always still be

some Paul over his presidency that it's not entirely legitimate because he didn't win the popular vote.
