You probably remember other things about him.

But I'm particularly fond of those five years we spent together

critiquing columns of Paul

Krugman but Bob has other things to be said for him as well he has a PhD in economics from

New York University I was reminded of that quite a few times

during the Conter-Krugman days

because I have no degree in economics

and that was one of the running gags of the show.

He's chief economist with Infino and we're going to talk today about, well, a bunch

of things related to the economy right now and various proposed policies, but because I wanted to recall the old glory days of

Conver Krugman I thought well I have one tweet from Krugman that we could talk

about so that's what we reduced to ladies and gentlemen. I got a tweet but it needs to be talked about but anyway Bob glad to have you. Glad to be here again Tom and it is amazing how many people come up to me and that's what they bring up is oh I love

contraband when you guys are going to bring that back and that and you know say hey when

crewman becomes relevant maybe we will. That's right well this was the best crewman

we might as well start with that I, we probably teased it a little bit.

Let's start with crew, then we'll get into other things. From my vantage point, it looks to me as if he's trying his best to throw Harris a lifeline on this whole

price gouging thing. Here's what he writes in this tweet. Harris's gouging proposal and by the way we are going to talk about this in a minute

but I assume most people by now have heard that her belief is that the rise in grocery prices is being driven by price gouging
