0:10.9	graced our podcast in Part 1, this land will officially be given that Xinjiang
0:16.8	moniker, a place with so many past names that had endured so many conquerors and transformations over the millennia.
0:25.0	Everything starts to take on a more familiar shape now.
0:30.0	Events that happen in Xinjiang during this Qing Dynasty era ended up having a

1:05.8	In a relatively short period of time, the landmass of China will double in size with
1:11.4	Tibet, Xinjiang, Taiwan, Mongolia, and Manchuria, all packed on top of the core lands of northern and southern China.

1:26.5	Ching Dynasty looks pretty much like today's map of the PRC. I'm getting ahead of myself. Just offering a taste of what's to come.

1:46.5	After everything had been worked out between China and Russia and the Treaty of Near Chinsk and
1:51.0	the dust had settled and the Kalka Mongols were all on the Ching Empire side of the new border.
1:57.0	That's when the Kangshi Emperor decided to rid his empire of this menace in the northwest and grab all that Zungar territory for the greatness
2:06.7	and glory of his own Ching empire.
2:10.2	That turned out to be another case of easier said than done.
2:15.0	Galedon's grand vision had one big strategic problem and this is going to doom the
2:20.3	Zungar Khanate in the end. They were hemmed in from all directions by Russia, Tibet, and China.
