then we're going to have girl chat then we're going to have fun then some weird

industry you didn't know about and now we've got yeah we've got that we've got

the big e we've got the big kahuna here we've got the big kay we've got

Kimura lee Simmons this one's gonna be so fun you know when I was

researching her bio I was like I knew how much she did and I say that about a lot of our

guests are multi hyphenet but good lord just like buckle up here we go. She started modeling at 12 and we do talk to her about that, so that's really cool.

Then the entrepreneurial streak took off in 98 when she started Baby Fat by Comorale Simmons.

She went on to design lines fashions.

Then she did beauty, she created fragrances, she started a jewelry

line KLS Cosmetics. Remember Fabulosity? She had a line called Fabulosity at

J.C. Penny. A kids line, another fashion line, a skincare line, aimed at helping women of color

in 2011. How's that for like, ahead of the curve? And I'm probably missing some of her amazing

businesses, but whatever, she's back with baby fat.

It's now back under her control,

and she launched beauty kits that she curated

with her daughter's Ming and Aoki.

She's also an author, a television star,

she had a reality show that ran for a long time, a mother of five, a very big into philanthropy, and then I felt like I was like, fun fact for Jess that I thought you might like did you know she has a

Tony Award I did not know I yes this is so cool so she was the producer
