| 0:00.0 | What's up, guys? Welcome to another five-minute fatherhood. So Jeff and I are back. We've been |
| 0:10.3 | recording these before a lot of the shutdown happened. And now a lot of you guys are in the middle |
| 0:16.7 | of a lot of new stuff. Like, how do you handle having so much of the family at home? What are we |
| 0:24.8 | going to do economically? So Jeff, I want to talk through some ideas for you guys in the next few |
| 0:29.8 | episodes. This one is, does a crisis bring your family together or drive it apart? So there's a lot |
| 0:35.3 | of things to worry about, obviously, in this season, you |
| 0:38.3 | guys. But one of the things that you want to make sure that you're doing is investing in your |
| 0:43.0 | team in such a way that as people get worried, as different things, the crisis mounts, |
| 0:51.5 | there are certain ways to design a group of people that crises will drive them |

| 1:17.8 | only for what they're only in the group for what they can get out of it, crisises tend to drive |
| 1:23.0 | them apart. And unfortunately, you guys, many people today, their families are really designed to really |
| 1:30.3 | be driven apart by a crisis. And so I want to give you guys three really quick things you can start |
| 1:35.9 | to do right away that will help you begin that process of sort of bringing your family together |
| 1:42.0 | like a team. So they are processed together, pray together, and plan together. So what you want to do is have a regular time with your family where you're processing what's going on. How are you guys feeling? Understand that emotions are going to fluctuate all over the map. There's, you know, points in which kids are like, kind of like, oh, this is weird and different. And other points where |
| 2:01.1 | they may hear news that kind of freak them out, but they haven't told you about it. Process that stuff |
| 2:05.4 | together. Have a rhythm, I mean, maybe in the evening where you guys can just hang out, talk, |
| 2:10.4 | again, bring your family together, pray together, like really think and see what those needs are |
| 2:16.2 | and begin to pray as a team for |
