I have a brand new guest, so welcome to the show for the first time.

Tom, thank you so much for having me.

Now I was just reviewing with Kyle that he holds the position that until 2019, our friend Scott Horton held, and Scott was working on his book

Fool's errand and he said to Eric Garris who kind of runs the whole thing he said I

can't be opinion editor at anti-war comedy where I got to just focus on my book and I guess Eric just lit into him like what are you crazy I can't possibly do without you you've got to be out of your mind, whatever.

And Scott said, no, no, no, I insist,

I got a really good substitute, really,

oh, get out of here.

So he insisted, you've got to talk to Kyle for half an hour.

And he said, and Eric did talk to him and came back and said to Scott yeah I love this guy

You know he's better than you go write your dumb book

So I thought well what the heck why have I not had Kyle on the show so let's talk about a few things that are in the news and by the time this airs you know all right it's several days past but I mean the big picture

Unfortunately rarely shifts all that much in US foreign

policy you don't have to worry that peace is going to suddenly break out you know

this these people have a vested interest in keeping it all going but let's talk
