This episode we're answering a really big reader dilemma about what to do when you hate

a book and wow, do we have opinions or what?

Before I was, what are you reading, Bria?

I finished a graphic novel that just came out by my buddy, Mark Bernardin, called Adora

and the Distance.

It's great.

The artist's name is Ariela Cristantina, and it is great.

It is a YA fantasy graphic novel about the adventures of a young woman of color named Adora,

who lives in this like fantasy world, and she goes on a quest of sorts, I would say, because

there's something called the Distance that is affecting her community, and she's the

person who has to go and try to fight it.

It's really cute.

I would definitely suggest this for any of you have like a niece enough you a child.

This is a really great adventure graphic novel with a young woman of color at the center,

which I will say I have not seen a lot of in the fantasy side of things.

It's wonderful.

It's coming out.

I think it's already out.

And definitely worth picking up.
