Given that there wasn’t much news in the world of pop culture, they devoted the majority of this episode to a reality television debrief. First, they started with the three episode special, Love Is Blind: After The Alter. As most who watched it can probably confirm, it was relatively painful to get through. That being said, still a bunch to discuss (Jessica’s revival, Damian/Francesca/Giannina & so much more). They then transitioned into a rather intensive breakdown of Netflix’s new reality show, My Unorthodox Life. They broke the conversation into two sections: 1) looking at it from a more critical lens as it applied to Judaism and 2) a more frivolous drama/plot line breakdown. They first discussed some of the concerns that the show raised, their own interpretations as Jews who do have a familiarity to the Orthodox community that was described, and more.
