I think if we had a national referendum on whether Montana should stay in the union or not, I think you'd get a much higher turnout nationwide.

What a bet?

Well, I do.

I think when it's something like that, I think we'd get higher. I think you get higher turn out. I'm not saying you'd get in the 90% range, but all I know is. There's a lot of people who didn't vote for the prime minister in Scotland who are voting this time because it's big publicity.

Maybe a better analogy, because if I'm sitting there going, look, it's a Breaking Bad marathon or voting to keep fucking Montana.

I can't miss this episode of Breaking Bad even though I've seen it three times.

It's so good.

You got to see the whole thing in order. You got to see the magnets episode or, you know, you'll just, everything will fall apart if you don't see it.

Well, and thank goodness in our democracy, our Congress, is taking off the next seven weeks to work on the problem of democracy by not doing anything about democracy.

But they're abandoning their posts in advance of an election to convince you that they are worth holding those posts.

Having spent five weeks on vacation already and having done nothing before that vacation because vacation was coming, it is so embarrassing that this Congress of ours is so fucked up.
