colleague David Tainter. Hey Josh. Hey, how are you? Good, how are you? How are you? I'm good. Well today we're going to talk about

this big Inspector General's report that came out late last week and sort of there's kind of two news stories right now there's the there's

the aftermath and the sifting of this inspector general's report yeah all 500

pages exactly.

Incredibly long.

And then the growing bureau over the family separation policy,

that's really been the dominant story of the week so far.

Yeah, it sort of the week so far.

Yeah, it sort of keeps escalating in it, and it seems likely to continue to do so, because just in the last,

I mean, there seemed to be some people who thought that yesterday, Monday

President Trump or Secretary Nielsen might come out and say okay that didn't work out we're

going to stop it. Yeah, no such thing.

I know it's interesting, I mean, last week,

some of these stories of mothers being kind of torn apart

from their children were definitely bubbling up in the news,

but it really seems like it's

come to a head this week and I don't know what change exactly between then and now

but it's just been wall-to-wall I mean yeah it's it's it's hard I mean I think I think one thing that happened was that there were

news reports at the end of last week that put numbers to it yeah that's that and I

think the big number is that kind of since this policy has been in effect, there is in the neighborhood of 2,000 minors,

children who have been separated from their families.
