Tons of y'all have asked me the simple but kind of broad and sometimes loaded question,

how and when should I introduce my kids to Harry Potter? Especially the when part. I'm asked

all the time for the super secret underground magical age where

every kid should start reading book one of the series. Well, I'm honored y'all ask me because it means

you know I adore the series and I do for so many reasons that I'll get into today. Well, in this

episode, I asked one of my great friends, Robin Dance, to join this chat. She's on the other side of this whole parenting thing, whereas I currently have three kids between the age of five and 11. Her three kids are all in their late teens, early 20s, and out of the house. All three of them enjoy it Harry Potter in their own time and in their own way. And so far, mine are too.

Well, except my five-year-old doesn't read yet, but I'm sure he will when it's time.
