So the other day, my friend and I were having a discussion on the phone about something

that happened to her at work, but the only way the problem would be resolved was for her

to address the problem with her boss.

And she was really frustrated and she says to me, she's like, you don't understand. I'm not brave like you boss. And she was really frustrated.

And she says to me, she's like, you don't understand.

I'm not brave like you are.

And I was kind of taken aback because she is someone that I not only look up to, but in my eyes,

she's one of the bravest people around.

So I was really confused.

And I was like, what do you mean you're not brave?

So then I did that really annoying thing where you like define a word that the other person knows

in an attempt to use their words against them.

And I was like, brave, adjective, ready to face an endure danger or pain, showing courage.
