Democrats want to inflict pain on Trump and block him from pardoning himself, his family, or his allies. They want to prosecute the Trump family once the President leaves office for made-up crimes. Republicans want to impeach Trump because anyone who is impeached and convicted is barred from ever again holding Federal office.

The GOP sees this as an easy way to purge Trump from the party. Ultimately, however, they are only doing to Trump what they wish they could do to YOU!
