So what does this mean? What now? what next for Rodan and the White Sox? That is what we're here mainly to talk about. Let's start with you, Vinnie Dober. Yeah, it's not good. It's not good at all. I mean, we've been down this road before, haven't we, with Michael Kopeck with Dane Dunning, and with Zach Berry before them. All those guys had Tommy John surgery. It's not a certainty that Carlos Rodan will end up having Tommy John surgery, but as you said, it's on the table. And this is a significant arm injury for one of the White Sox Young starting pitchers. I mean, the first thing that pops into my mind is this is another significant injury to a guy who's a big part of the future plans. what does that do to the timeline of those future plans? When you've got these significant injuries piling up, and I've only mentioned the ones to pitchers, there's been ones to prospects who are position players as well. When these keep piling up, what does that do to that date, that mystery date of the transition from rebuild to contention? Does it push it down the road even further? Now, it's hard to say that one guy is going to be able to do that, but unfortunately we've talked about an awful lot of these over the last couple of years. It certainly feels like, this is obviously speculation, I would hate to just say it, but it feels like it's going down the Tommy John path. I mean, Rick did say definitively that it will be a while.
