0:08.0	We have two super, super interesting projects that are not necessarily blockchain projects.
0:13.0	They're what you would call a DAG.
0:16.0	So Pete, tell us quickly at a high level, what's a DAG and why does it matter?
0:20.0	It's different than a blockchain.
0:23.4	The way transactions are sent around is you have to have, you have to perform two proofs
0:28.9	of work before your transaction gets spent.
0:31.8	So it exponentially spins up this network that grows faster and faster over time with more
0:36.3	usage. This is phenomenal for small micro transactions and is really great because the normal attack
0:42.9	vectors of a 51% attack or a denial of service attack don't work.
0:47.6	In fact, they actually make the network better.
0:49.6	That sounds super interesting.
0:50.7	So we're going to dive in to HoloChane first and then to Nano. But, you know,
0:55.7	let's just quickly just talk about HoloChain. So again, it's not a blockchain per se. But I like
1:03.4	actually what HoloChane talks about in this podcast. They talk about it being a new medium that can carry richer patterns of
1:14.8	communication and social coordination. So kind of what this means is that these new systems
1:21.9	are ways of coordinating machines, right? There are a new way for machines to be accountable to one another and to facilitate all
1:30.8	these sorts of autonomous machine to machine value transfers.
1:34.6	So how do we do that, right?
1:36.2	It's by users or machines owning their own data and being able to monetize that, right?
