Well, it seems to me that when you know I'm reading the newspaper,

I'm following well-known American political figures,

I sometimes encounter people. well-known American political figures.

I sometimes encounter people who seem to be very, very sound on a lot of things,

and they seem to be very much in favor of a laissez-faire policy even in international relations. But then

China comes along and all that goes right out the window. So that's I presume why you decided you needed to fill a kind of an intellectual gap here with a book like that because even the good people seem to be really, really preoccupied with the issue of China.
