What's up everybody? Welcome to podcast number 241 on your host Reality Steve. Thank you very much for tuning in.

Good show for you today. First time guest. His name is Dave Neal. He is a stand-up comedian and he's a bachelor recapper on YouTube.

I know a lot of you have read him. A lot of you have sent me links to stuff that he has done over the years. And finally decided to have him on.

And it was brought to my attention a couple of weeks ago. He had recapped and reviewed my appearance on a Witten Rise YouTube show.

And I really appreciated what he said. I'm not having him on just because he said good things and understood where I was coming from.

I just saw it like the fact that he took the time to actually listen versus having a one sentence hot take and looking for some clickbait stuff.

So Dave's a great guest. You're going to love him getting into some really good stuff in today's podcast. And that's coming up momentarily.

So let's talk about the bachelor and paradise spoilers that I gave you yesterday. I think the biggest thing to take out of it and to start off right up the bat when I first released them yesterday. I said that Kenny and Mari.

And Riley and Marissa were engaged but Joe and Kendall weren't about Joe Kendall.

Whoops. That Joe and Serena P weren't engaged but they were together. I about I don't know four or five hours later. I changed it on my website.

Changed it on my I added it on my Instagram stories and I put it in my Twitter feed. All three got engaged. So Joe and Serena pit did get engaged at the end of paradise. So they were three for three.

Now obviously people are reacting to the three engagements and they're like Kenny, Mari, who what Riley and Marissa she was you know first off on her season. Yes, she was.

But what I can tell you having done this for as long as I have is I remember when I said at the end of season three, Evan and Carly and Lacey and Grant got engaged along with Amanda and Josh.

And the reaction was pretty much the same. Evan and Carly. Oh my God. Where's that come from? I don't see them together at all. Lacey and Grant what?

Random and you know people ended up liking and granted none of them stayed together. Well, Evan and Carly did but Amanda and Josh broke up and Lacey and Grant broke up. But I'm not saying that these couples are going to last. I'm just saying let's actually watch the show before you and David, I kind of get into this today in the podcast.

It's just like everybody's got to have a hot take three seconds after they hear something like let some stuff fester let some stuff actually sink in actually watch the couples together first before it's like, oh Riley and Marissa, who cares.

Who's Marissa? And oh my gosh, Kenny and Mari, huh? Like who knows? Maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised. Doesn't mean they're going to last.

And you know my stance on all these relationships, whether it's bachelor, bachelor at or bachelor paradise, you know, the engagement is just a product of what the show wants you to do.

Now granted, bachelor paradise couple spent way more time together with the person that they choose to be with at the end. Then the bachelor lead does with the person they choose.

Any bachelor lead will tell you if you add up all the hours that they spent with the person they finally chose it's maybe three four days total. Once you're down on the beach, you can sleep in the same bed with that person every night once you connect with them.
