1:16.1	scheme that's going on in Congress right now between Mitch McConnell and his office and Nancy
1:21.0	Pelosi and her office to potentially change the rules that govern how
1:25.8	the Electoral College will be voted on and certified on January 6th.
1:30.8	So on the podcast we've talked at length about the 12th Amendment, which was put in place after the election of 1800, which was a disputed election where they said, hey, it's probably not a good idea just to give the vice presidency to whoever comes in second.
1:43.0	So the 12th Amendment states that the Vice President, acting Vice President, the sitting
1:48.0	Vice President has to count the votes.
