dusted it off, fixed it, and now he travels the country with it. It's a really cool story. He's written a couple of books about it. I think you're going to like it. So without further ado, my interview with Kevin Matthews. So Kevin, it's good to talk to you. I, um, I, if you don't, if you don't mind, uh, I, I didn't, I didn't like prep a whole

bio. So I'm going to like try and introduce you the way that like I think someone my age would

recognize you. So most people don't know this about, uh, about radio. But Chicago, from what I

understand was like the place to be for radio in the 80s.

Is that right?

I don't know.

I mean, Chicago had some really talented people in the 80s.

I didn't get to Chicago until 1986.

But then you had somebody like Steve Dahl and Larry Lujack and some real impactful radio personnel.

Yeah, it was a good market.

You just showed up in 86.

Where were you before that again?
