And today we jump into one of the funnest and most exciting and yet

most

speculated chapters of all of the book of revelation and that is revelation chapter 13 the beast that rises out of the sea the mark of the

beast the number of the beast and all those scary things and we're going to see

if we can make it a whole lot less scary and applicable in everyday lives and we're going to focus

on what does the text say and what does modern revelation reveal about the text.

So Mike, tell us about the beast coming out of the sea. Okay, so before I

talk about the beast coming out of the sea, just really quick, I want to talk a

little bit about where I think John is. I think John is in the temple in heaven. I think he's in the

Holy of Holies. And the reason why I think this is because of other texts that are not in

the Bible. So there's a text called the Apocalypse of

Abraham and in that text Abraham is brought up into the heavens and he sees

everything. He sees everything played out and God says to him the firmament on which you stand is the veil and so I want to just this is this is a little bit difficult for modern to get get
